Subdomain(s): books (if you ever want to add future subdomains, remember to add them here) Next, you go to letsencrypt's docker and you put this:ĭomain Name: (dont put your dns here) If you dont have something similar with your dns service, i think you will need to manually update it everytime your ISP updates your IP (maybe someone can correct me here). What I think it does is when my IP changes, my unRAID server sends an update request to duckDNS to make sure my url (ie ) is still pointing to my IP. I am using duckDNS because it has a container that I can run on my server. Let's assume your domain is you want to access įeel free to add as many of these CNAMES as you'd like. I am assuming you have a domain that you want to serve as an access point to a container on your server. Thanks a lot for your posts! I got it working!įor anyone else looking for a way to do this in the future, here you go: I believe there are some posts in the LE thread on how to set it up. I personally haven't tried the cloudfare option yet, but I'm going to try it soon. If you don't go with dns validation you'll have to setup http validation over port 80, which have to be forwarded to you LE container. Since you have your own domain I would recommend using cloudfare's dns service, then you can use dns validation to get your certs validated and you only need to forward port 443 to the let's encrypt container. Some containers won't work with subdirectories so you have to use subdomains. It may take a while to find what you're looking for since it is a massive thread but there's a LOT of information there: īasically there are two ways to configure the nginx reverse proxy, either with subdomains () or subdirectories (/subdirectory). If you piece together things from the guide you linked and these two I think you are on the right track:Īnd I strongly recommend the let's encrypt support thread. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply! I have purchased a domain for a different project, so I might try it with that.ĭo you think I can follow this guide to set up a reverse proxy? You can set up geoblocking, you can ban IP's automatically, you can do almost anything.Īfter you've set it up you just go to or /containername like any other website. If the containers don't have the ability to set up username/password you can do that too with nginx. And you can connect to all of them using https. Instead of forwarding one port for each container. The great thing about it is you can access all/most of your containers remotely with just forwarding 1 or max 2 ports to the let's encrypt container. It also has nginx baked in so you can set up a web server or just use it to reverse proxy your containers. Then spin up the let's encrypt container from linuxserver.io which takes care of issuing a free SSL certificate for your domain/subdomain so you can connect securely. Purchase a domain or get a free subdomain with duckdns or something. It's a great way to securely connect to your containers remotely. I don't use CalibreWeb but I would reverse proxy it.

While there is truth in the old adage that if it sounds right, it is right, a visual representation of your audio can offer all sorts of helpful insights. For example, Elements now includes side‑chaining options and Artist now includes support for VariAudio 3, ARA2 and unlimited audio, MIDI or instrument tracks. And while not all of these new features trickle down to the Artist and Elements versions, in both cases, there are some nice surprises. That said, on paper, for users of the Pro version, the list of ‘new and improved’ in this upgrade is impressive. While v11 brings all sorts of worthwhile new developments, if you are part of that large user‑base and Cubase helps put food on your table, you can breathe easy moving from any recent (10 or 10.5, for example) version to Cubase 11 is a smooth and painless transition. The current DAW/sequencer marketplace includes many excellent choices, and Cubase is undoubtedly one of the ‘giants’ amongst this product group, with a long history, a large user base, and a comprehensive feature set. So, just what are Steinberg adding in Cubase 11 that might entice existing users to upgrade, or tempt potential new users to take the plunge? On The Shoulders Of Giants Those happy with their current version can, of course, choose to stick but, when presented with a long list of improvements and new features, the temptation to twist can be high. These regular annual upgrade cycles bring out different responses in users. Cubase 11 - in Pro, Artist and Elements versions - is therefore now with us. For many years, Steinberg have been very consistent on this front, with annual upgrades to Cubase released towards the year end. While death and taxes may still be the trump cards in the game of certainty, the inevitability of a tempting upgrade to your favourite music production software can’t come far behind. Steinberg turn the dial up to 11 with a stonking new version of Cubase. Next, click on ‘Print’ and select PDFCreator from the options as your default printer.

So, when the next must-see Marvel movie comes out, consider not going to a regular theater or waiting for it to go on Netflix. Three of the times I have gone, my car battery died and the employees are as friendly as can be. I have been to this drive-in theater almost half a dozen times and have yet to have a bad time. They will quickly send someone out to jump your car without a problem. Simply go up to the counter at the restaurant and ask an employee for a jump. I recommend (if you have a big enough trunk) you throw pillows and blankets in the back and create a bed for yourself for maximum comfort. When you pull up in front of the screen, you can decide to park facing the screen and watch the movies from your driver and/or passenger seat or you can park with your trunk facing the screen so that you can spread your legs out in your trunk. You’re not required to sit through both movies, so if you want to roll out after the first film, you’re more than welcome to. He therefore performed the piano in the song "Within" to accommodate the cycle. Gonzales expressed that the duo were aware of how the keys of each song would contribute to the emotional progression of the album as a whole. He recalled Daft Punk's visible joy in listening to the raw session recordings made early in the production of the album, as well as the impending years-long challenge that would be faced in completing the record. Daft Punk ‘s critically acclaimed album Random Access Memories is getting a 2023 re-release in honor of the project’s 10-year anniversary, the duo announced via Twitter on Wednesday (Feb. In the docuseries The Collaborators, Gonzales spoke about his contribution to the album. Regarding the lyrics, critic Nick Stevenson observed, "A deep vocoder sings about not understanding the world, being lost and not even remembering his own name." Jeremy Abbott of Mixmag added, " So many things I don't understand is the prominent lyric and Chilly's chords combined with grazing cymbals make for a beautiful summer lullaby." In the context of the album, "Within" marks the transition from the key of A minor of the previous three songs, to the key of B-flat minor of subsequent tracks. It features Gonzales on piano with minimal accompaniment consisting of bass and a percussion track, as well as vocoder. "Within" was one of the first tracks to be recorded for the album. Bangalter would later make a guest appearance in one of Gonzales lectures about music composition in the early 2000's. Gonzales previously worked with Daft Punk on the album Daft Club, where he provided his version of the song " Too Long" from the duo's second album Discovery. Random Access Memories is the fourth and final studio album by French electronic music duo Daft Punk. It features a collaboration with Chilly Gonzales on piano. The rest of the platform's offering of over 82 million songs can be played on pretty much any device you own, thanks to intuitive iOS and Android apps and support in numerous smart TVs, connected speakers and other AV kit courtesy of Spotify Connect. Not only does it offer decent (by most people's standards) approximately 320kbps quality, but it also boasts one of the most exhaustive and easy-to-navigate catalogues – though some big artists, including Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Grahame Nash, David Crosby, Stephen Stills, India.Arie and Nils Lofgren, are absent after recently taking issue with the service's stance on Covid disinformation. If you’re a conscientious music fan looking for the best high-quality streaming experience, with an extensive catalogue, immersive content, broad device support, and improved discovery features (and you aren’t already tied into the Apple ecosystem), Tidal is unquestionably it.ĭespite its critics, Spotify remains comfortably the most popular and convenient way to get your music fix. Tidal is also now distinguishing itself from the rest of the pack by introducing initiatives designed to provide artists with direct payments (from HiFi Plus subscribers only) that represent each user’s listening habits rather than being attributed by aggregation. Sonically Tidal still has the edge over almost all the competition, although Apple Music’s ALAC streams manage to match it for openness and subtlety. The CD-quality streams display excellent levels of detail and expression, and hi-res recordings take this up a level. It may have the priciest premium account tier on our list, but Tidal’s ease of use is exemplary, and sound quality is exceptional across the board. Tidal Connect also now allows you to connect via wi-fi to a growing list of products from manufacturers including NAD, Naim, KEF, Bluesound, Dali, Cambridge Audio, McIntosh and more. You can access Tidal through iOS, Android, desktop – all of which offer hi-res streams – as well as a browser-based player and a good spread of other platforms, such as Sonos. Customers in the US can take advantage of the service’s first-ever free plan, called ‘Tidal Free’, which offers the company’s complete library of 100 million tracks at 160kbps with “limited interruptions” from Tidal that will “aim to educate consumers on the music industry.” So if you're looking to try something new, which is the best music streaming service for you? Read on to find out.īut hi-res and CD-quality streams aren’t the be-all and end-all of Tidal’s offering. After all, when your playlists are set up and your listening habits are learned by a certain service, it's harder to decide to switch. But you don't have to sacrifice quality Tidal, Apple, Amazon and Qobuz all have subscription tiers that allow you to access CD-quality and even hi-res streams.Īs paid-for access to music takes over from outright ownership, users are likely to be signed up to one service or another for decades to come, so it makes sense to fully investigate what's out there before blindly committing to a rolling subscription for the rest of your life. Those concerned less by the outright quality and more with getting bang for your buck can listen to compressed streams at 320kbps from the likes of Spotify. The audio quality of these streams varies between services. There are also discounts to be had for students, as well as savings if you share your account with another person or your household. Once you decide to pay, it's usually by way of a set monthly subscription fee, though some services, such as Qobuz, offer a reduction if you sign up for a full year. You can also check out the best free music apps if you're tight on budget. The good news is that most services offer new users free trials – typically a month but sometimes up to three – and some, like Spotify, have a free tier (supported by adverts with limited playback options) so you can try out a services interface and curation before you buy. There's a wide range of streaming services to choose from, offering unlimited access to vast catalogues of music, which can be streamed over the internet or a mobile network or downloaded directly to your device for offline listening. |
